We all know the story of Dorothy
and her journey to Oz to find her way home. Through her travels, she collected her heart, brain and courage hoping that when she met the wizard, he would be able to give her the answer she so longed for. However, what she found in the Emerald city was an illusion. She discovered that she had the answer within her all along; she just needed some guidance to realize it.

| The Ruby Slipper Project is a women’s process art circle open to everyone, you do not need to be a mother to attend. Through a course of 6 weeks, women gather together to engage in art with painting, pastels and clay. Since this group focuses on the process, not the outcome, artistic skill is not necessary. As you allow yourself to engage in the creative process, release judgment and attachment to outcome, you will discover your own wisdom, answers and resources that already lie within you. After you are finished your piece for the evening, you will spend some quiet time reflecting and journaling about what you discovered about yourself and the process it took to get you there. This is deeply personal work and you will not be required to share it with anyone, in fact we encourage you to keep it for yourself. Just like Dorothy, you already have the answers within you; this is just a beautiful way of discovering them..
